About the event
Born and raised in Abilene, Texas, Landon submersed himself in the gritty tones of Red Dirt as well as the earnest lyrics of Americana, and lends himself to both styles. From a young age he fell in love with music, but it wasn't until his junior year of high school that he picked up a guitar. Finding inspiration from his favorite songwriting giants John Prine, Jason Isbell, John Baumann, Willie Nelson, Brnet Cobb and Robert Earl Keen, Landon has cultivated his own sound that resulted in his acoustic EP, "Truth". In his eclectic conglomeration of songs, Landon aimed to display his love of songwriting through haunting ballads as well as toe-tapping anthems.
